Horse Racing Betting Tips – Saturday 31st October

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Friday: Unfortunately our hot selection , Chapel Flowers, was a non-runner on Friday – having had a very resounding victory on Thursday.

So, Recent Performance stays above target:

20 Race Win Rate: rises to 30% (from 25%)
20 Race Place Rate: rises to 65% (from 55%)

Our three hot selections for Saturday are:

Ascot 1320: Cockney Trucker
Ayr 1415: John Forbes
Ascot 1500: Classic Swain

Come back on Sunday for a review of the month and selections for Carlisle and Huntingdon’s National Hunt meetings.

Horse Racing Betting Tips – Friday 30th October

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Thursday: A good 3rd and a win on Thursday.  Nawow’s win at Stratford took our returns on £1 stakes for the last 20 selections up to 18.8%.

Our last 30 selections have now delivered 10 winners (33% strike rate) and 19 horses that placed or won (63%).

Recent Performance is now above target:

20 Race Win Rate: rises to 30% (from 25%)
20 Race Place Rate: rises to 65% (from 55%)

Despite there being two National Hunt meetings tomorrow we have only one hot selection and that’s at:

Uttoxeter 1555: Chapel Flowers

Chapel Flowers will be popular as he’s on for 3 in a row tomorrow on the back of a very convincing win on Thursday at Newcastle – and yes we did back him despite him being odds-on !

Looking forward to some great racing at the weekend. Come back for Saturday’s selections.

Horse Racing Betting Tips – Thursday 29th October

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Wednesday: Wednesday’s three selections came in 2nd, unplaced and 2nd. The 2nds didn’t even warrant an each way bet so not a great day.

Recent Performance still holds reasonably steady though and in line with our targets:

20 Race Win Rate: drops to 25% (from 30%)
20 Race Place Rate: rises to 55% (from 50%)

We have two hot selections for Thursday, both at Stratford’s National Hunt meeting:

Stratford 1450: Present Gale (hot)
Stratford 1550: Nawow (hot)

Enjoy the day.

Horse Racing Betting Tips – Wednesday 28th October

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Tuesday: Tuesday’s selection of Lucky Punt obliged by winning at 85/40.

We have now delivered 7 winners from our 21 selections over the last 7 days and Recent Performance holds steady:

20 Race Win Rate: steady at 30%
20 Race Place Rate: steady at 50% (from 55%)

Wednesday presents us with one ‘cautious’ selection and two ‘hot’ selections at Haydock’s National Hunt meeting:

Haydock 1350: Silver Steel (cautious)
Haydock 1455: Killard Point (hot)
Haydock 1600: Thai Vango (hot)

Let’s hope we can keep our 20 race strike rate above our target of 25%.

Horse Racing Betting Tips – Tuesday 27th October

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Monday: Our Monday selection, Carter, achieved a creditable 2nd delivering a good each-way return, particularly if you picked him up at 16/1 first thing in the morning.

Recent Performance holds steady:

20 Race Win Rate: steady at 30%
20 Race Place Rate: steady at 50% (from 55%)

No jumps meetings on Tuesday so our selection is from the flat meeting at Southwell:

Southwell 1520: Lucky Punt

Happy racing.

Horse Racing Betting Tips – Monday 26th October

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Sunday: Two winners out of three selections makes for a happy Sunday. Jacarado won at 9/4 and, most satisfying of all, Bennynthejets won the 1545 at Towcester at 8/1.

Recent Performance holds steady:

  • 20 Race Win Rate: steady at 30%
  • 20 Race Place Rate: drops to 50% (from 55%)

No jumps meetings on Monday (in fact none until Wednesday), so we have taken a look at the flat meetings and have selected:

Kempton 1440: Carter

Sporting Life suggest a starting price of 10/1 which means he could be worth an each way punt.

Following a successful end to the week, here’s looking forward to the next.

Horse Racing Betting Tips – Sunday 25th October

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Saturday: No wins on Saturday but a 2nd with Sula’s Legend which at 8/1 was well worth an each-way bet. Odds-on favourite, Noble Alan fell in a four horse race which reminds us once again of the folly of betting odds-on over jumps. Huguenot was a non-runner.

And wasn’t it good to see Monet’s Garden winning again at Aintree !

Recent Performance remains respectable:
20 Race Success Rate: drops to 30% (from 35%)
20 Race Place Rate: drops to 55% (from 60%)

There are three jumps meetings on Sunday at Aintree, Wincanton and Towcester, with the last two meetings providing us with Sunday’s selections:

Wincanton 1350: Jackie Boy
Towcester 1510: Jacarado
Towcester 1545: Bennynthejets

As always, we’ll steer clear of very short odds-on and we’ll consider going each way on any selection at more than 6/1.

Happy racing.

Horse Racing Betting Tips – Saturday 24th October

Horse Racing Betting Tip Review of Friday: No wins on Friday but one 2nd with No Panic. Our other selection, You Can of Course, unfortunately ran out whilst looking strong.

Recent Performance holds steady:

20 Race Place Rate: stays at 60%

A great day’s racing ahead for Saturday with some wonderful National Hunt race meetings at Aintree, Chepstow and Stratford upon Avon.

The selections for tomorrow are:

Aintree 1525: Noble Alan
