Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Saturday:
Twist Magic was our one winner yesterday in an impressive display at Sandown, with none of the other four selections placed.

Recent Performance has now dropped a notch:
• 20 Race Win Rate: drops to 20% (from 25%)
• 20 Race Place Rate: stays at 50% (from 60%)
• Current losing run: 2 races since last winner

We have four selections for Sunday, all selections are still rated cautious:

• Kelso 1320: Money Trix
• Kelso 1420: Morgan Be
• Warwick 1240: Copper Bleu
• Warwick 1410: Tarquinius

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Friday:
What a disappointing Friday with no winners from the four of our five selections that ran. Alrafid and Jump Jet gave us two 2nd places, although Alrafid was mugged on the line !

Our Recent Performance has dropped yet another notch:
• 20 Race Win Rate: drops to 15% (from 20%)
• 20 Race Place Rate: stays at 45%
• Current losing run: 11 races since last winner (our longest losing streak)

Despite there being three National Hunt race meetings on Saturday, our system identified only two selections from the 9 races assessed which we have rated as ‘cautious‘:

Kelso 1500: I’m Deliilah
Kelso 1535: Gershwinner

What an exciting day’s racing ahead, buoyed up by the first Cheltenham meeting of the season with quite a few big prize races – although we’re offering no selections from Cheltenham !

We do, however, have four ‘cautious’ selections from the Kelso meeting:

Kelso 1420: On my Terms
Kelso 1530: Silk Drum
Kelso 1715: The Shy Man
Kelso 1745: Lahib the Fifth

And then one on the flat:
Newmarket 1650: Ave

Doc Reason pulled up and Epsom Salts unplaced is not a great result for a Saturday but neither of these was a hot selection.

Sunday does look more promising, however, with four selections recommended with the first three hot and the fourth selection, Scotch Corner, a possible each way chance as he is apt to be pulled up:

Kelso 1455 Nile Moon
Huntingdon 1550 Toni Alcala
Uttoxeter 1615 Ogee
Uttoxeter 1755 Scotch Corner

All of these except Ogee look likely to go off at fairly big prices – anything at more than 6-1 could be worth an each way punt.

Don’t be put off by big-priced horses. They can be a significant contributor to your profits. Remember you only need 16-1 winners at a strike rate of at least 6% to be in profit over the long run. Our system does tend to perform reasonably well on long-priced horses. Over the last year’s chase races we have achieved the following:

Odds of 10 to 12-1, strike rate = 16%
Odds of 12 to 14-1, strike rate = 8%
Odds of 14 to 16-1, strike rate = 9%
Odds of 16 to 20-1, strike rate = 0% (very few races with selections at these odds)
Odds of 20 to 33-1, strike rate = 9%
