Nice to see that one of Tuesday’s Horse Racing Betting Tips selections, Tataniano, won and was immediately priced up by the big betting shops for the Arkle. But … starting at 1/5 on Tuesday really is a price too short for us. Our doubts about backing odds-on horses over hurdles and jumps was then reinforced by our other selection at Exeter, Ballydub, who fell when 2 out having started at 4/9.

For Wednesday, now that we’re getting more consistent results showing through, we’re selecting Celtic Boy at Worcester 1650 as a ‘hot’ selection. Pride of Dulcote in the 1550 at Worcester is popping out as a ‘cautious’ selection but at an odds-on price which we would tend to avoid.

We’re also getting a cautious selection for Knapp Bridge Boy in the 1450 at Worcester.   Sporting Life is suggesting an SP of 25/1 which, if that price holds, means we might go for an each-way punt.
