Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Wednesday:
As expected, Dusk did not run leaving only Iphar as our selection. He decided not to run any more at the 2nd last, refusing. Our Recent Performance now look like this:
• 20 Race Win Rate: stays at 20%
• 20 Race Place Rate: stays at 50%
• Current losing run: 2 races since last winner

There are 3 selections for Saturday, running at Newcastle and Towcester – all still rated cautious:

• Newcastle 1210: Parnak D’airy
• Newcastle 1240: Heez a Steel
• Towcester 1250: Wheels up

Although there is some exciting racing at Newbury, the fields are too big for us to justify a selection.

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Saturday:
One winner (Sa Suffit) and two placed (Voy Por Ustedes and Morgan Be) from our four selections on Saturday.

This lifts our Recent Performance:
• 20 Race Win Rate: rises to 10% (from 5%)
• 20 Race Place Rate: rises to 35% (from 25%)
• Current losing run: 3 races since last winner

There are 6 selections for Sunday – still rated cautious:

• Aintree 1310: Chief Yeoman
• Aintree 1420: Justwhateverulike
• Aintree 1455: Shadow Dancer
• Towcester 1335: Woodlands Genpower
• Musselburgh 1325: Tazbar
• Musselburgh 1510: Native Coral

Some of these selections are likely to be high prices so remember that we tend to go each way on anything more than 6/1.

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Wednesday: We managed to get two winners from Wednesday’s five selections (one of the original selections was a non-runner). Golden Square (15/2) and Red Jester (3/1) set us off to a good start, both winning their races fairly comfortably.

Despite the two wins, Recent Performance has dropped a mark:
• 20 Race Win Rate: stayed at 25%
• 20 Race Place Rate: drops to 45%
• Current losing run: 3 races since last winner.

We have four selections for Thursday – all rated as ‘cautious’:

Haydock 1250: Solway Minstrel
Haydock 1505: Catch Bob
Towcester 1440: Saphir des Bois
Towcester 1515: Ortega

Horse Racing Betting Tips Review of Saturday: No wins on Saturday but a 2nd with Sula’s Legend which at 8/1 was well worth an each-way bet. Odds-on favourite, Noble Alan fell in a four horse race which reminds us once again of the folly of betting odds-on over jumps. Huguenot was a non-runner.

And wasn’t it good to see Monet’s Garden winning again at Aintree !

Recent Performance remains respectable:
20 Race Success Rate: drops to 30% (from 35%)
20 Race Place Rate: drops to 55% (from 60%)

There are three jumps meetings on Sunday at Aintree, Wincanton and Towcester, with the last two meetings providing us with Sunday’s selections:

Wincanton 1350: Jackie Boy
Towcester 1510: Jacarado
Towcester 1545: Bennynthejets

As always, we’ll steer clear of very short odds-on and we’ll consider going each way on any selection at more than 6/1.
